Remember the final scene of School Daze when a young Larry Fishburne ran across his college campus screaming at his peers to WAAAAKE UP? This is the message I get from every item available at Philadelphia Printworks.
This independent screen-printing company – ran by retailers and bloggers – aims to encourage activism and inclusion through apparel. I haven’t seen a t-shirt, sweatshirt or tote bag yet that didn’t carry a message the masses need to hear. Two of my personal faves are the “Respect the Locals” tee and the Feminist Authors tote bag.
If the messages aren’t enough (and I can’t imagine that being true), the gorgeous Black and Brown models showcasing Philadelphia Printworks’ inventory have your life, and I suggest you go get it.
